Time With the Girls
My husband was a sweetie and gave me a weekend off!!! After a very busy tax season, it was so nice to have a whole weekend to myself! A few of my girl friends and I headed up to Lake Tahoe for some sunshine and relaxation. We went out to the movies, we went for a walk, we went shopping, we ate a ton of junk food, we laughed and laughed and laughed. It was such a nice break. Thanks girls for the memories! I am so glad my friend Heidi came from Utah! It would not have been the same without you! :)

Playing at the Park
We decided to take the kids to the park on Saturday. IT was such a nice day outside, it was hard to resist! Megan LOVES the swings... although several people took her out, when she ran in front of them.

These seats are crazy... they spin and spin... Maddy always comes home from the park just a little queazy!

Check out Mitchell's shiner from the park. He slipped walking up the stairs to the slide. He had a swollen, black and purple bruise that lasted a good week!

Is Spring really here?
Megan and Mitchell were thrilled at all of the "Popcorn" on the trees outside. We took the kids for some fun at the park. They had a blast! Much better than our last park excursion, where Mitchell got a huge black eye, and Megan was taken out twice by running in front of people on the swings.

Chicken Pox still exist!
Justin was running a high fever all weekend long. It carried into Monday. This morning when he woke up the fever was gone... but something was left in its place.... CHICKEN POX! "Oh, that's right... he's the only one who didn't have the Varicella vaccine!" Yikes!!! They just keep coming! Poor kid! I had to call my mom to ask what chicken pox looked like.. because I had never seen them before (that I could remember). Soo... here are the pics... post Calamine rub down from Mom!
